On Saturday March 31, 2007, the Math Academy will be taking a trip to the Texas State Aquarium. As an incentive for participating in the Mathematics and Science Academy, the students will be taken to the Texas State Aquarium and TAMU at Corpus Christi. The students will visit the Aquarium and get a better understanding and appreciation of the Gulf of Mexico. A short visit to the university will allow the students to know where and what programs are available at TAMU. The last visit will be to the beach where the students will be able to enjoy the sand and sun. | | |
